(Not that you need to use any of them. Do whatever you'd like! But you're still stuck sharing a bed. For awhile.) This can also be the night of or the morning after. Wow, such variety!

Respond to whoever posts with the number you want, determine who is playing what role (or if both of you are), and go for it! Or you can nudge each other on Plurk or whatever beforehand and figure out who is doing what. It's up to you.

Anyway, have fun! This is open to everyone.

1] You're stuck somewhere with no way out until morning and there's only one bed. That floor doesn't look very clean, either. It's also cold and there are no spare blankets. Could this night really get any worse?

2] That last battle was tough and now one of you is seriously injured. It's not bad enough to go to the hospital, but it certainly requires some patching up and a good night (or more) of rest. It's a good thing your companion is here to take care of you! They'll even stay the night to make sure you're okay, just in case you need anything.

3] There's physical trauma and then there's emotional trauma. Even if you're not the type to wear your heart on your sleeve, you've hit your limit and it's hard to keep everything inside anymore. It's all right, though. Once you finish letting out all of your frustrations, you've at least got someone nearby to comfort you. They won't be leaving any time soon.

4] That monster you fought earlier that you didn't get a chance to defeat just yet? It looks like they gave you more than a couple scratches and bruises. You don't want to let go of your companion if you can help it and that means piling into bed with them. If they leave your sight even for a minute, you'll whine until they come back. Maybe you'll have better luck with that monster tomorrow.

5] It's the next morning and you're... not really sure why this person is next to you in bed. Is this your bed? Or your apartment? Do you even know who this person is? Looks like you might be sitting around for a bit while you try to piece the night together.

6] Anything else! <s>I'm out of ideas.</s>

comments

In all honesty, he probably should have waited until Raiga offered his assistance and Crow would 'grudgingly' accept, but the duty of a shadow knight was that he should be expected to complete all his duties alone, regardless of how difficult an enemy is.

He'd found the Horror that night after tracking it and had managed to save the newest victim, a girl who had run off as soon as Crow had interrupted them. Crow had managed to stick one of his shuriken in the enemy's shoulder before it ran off, but it had somehow disappeared to where even Oruba couldn't find him. ... until tonight, when she'd perked up as soon as the sun went down and told him they had work to do.

So, Crow had found the Horror, attacked him, weakened him, but the Horror had run off again. This time, however, he wasn't disappearing for the rest of the night. He'd appeared on the other side of town, energy flaring, giving the sign that something was getting him worked up. ... was he fighting someone, or attacking someone? Crow couldn't be sure, but it was really starting to irritate him that he'd already been chasing this Horror for two nights.

Trying to push down his anger, Crow transformed as soon as Oruba gave him the location, summoning his wings and taking off, dodging around buildings on his way there.

Sure, it was stupid, it was dangerous, but he really didn't want to risk this Horror hurting anyone else.]

comments

Things have calmed down since defeating Eris, but Crow can feel a weight in his chest from time to time, a pressure that concerns him. He knows it's likely just nerves, though he can't shake the suspicion that something from Eris's seed continues to linger inside of his body.

... perhaps he should go visit one of the priests, soon. After a few moments of no reaction, he feels his heart start to sink at what he might have just done and oh, well, this certainly isn't the first time tonight that Tsukasa has accidentally opened the wrong door and ended up with a horrible reaction he hadn't intended.

He's half-tempted to call the whole thing off, to push everything away again even though he knows he shouldn't, when he's startled out of his thoughts by Daiki's hand hitting the counter. It's angry, yes, but there's that touch of sorrow that rips at his heart. It's all too familiar of when Daiki had tried to pull him back from confronting Apollo Geist, just before he'd broken down in front of him.

Tsukasa slides his hand across the counter, reaching for Daiki's, then hesitates and drops it an inch or so away instead. Daiki had said not to touch him and he's worried that getting close again will just make everything worse. ... he's horrible at comforting people. How had he never picked up that skill from Yuusuke?

There's a lot Tsukasa knows he can say as well, right now, but he's worried that anything he says might make Daiki clam up and end up feeling worse. Even more than that, Tsukasa is afraid he might get so overwhelmed that he'll just leave and Tsukasa certainly doesn't want to see Daiki out and running around when he's this vulnerable.]

Kaitou...

[He really can't think of anything else to say, so maybe a gentle nudging of the other's name will be enough.]

comments
